Premium Copper Nickel Flanges for Marine and Seawater Applications

MicroTech Stainless Steel Co. manufactures and supplies high-quality Copper Nickel Flanges that combine excellent corrosion resistance with superior mechanical properties. These alloys are specifically designed for marine, offshore, and seawater applications where resistance to chloride-induced corrosion and bio-fouling is critical.
Copper Nickel Flanges offer exceptional resistance to seawater corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, and erosion-corrosion, making them the material of choice for shipbuilding, offshore oil & gas platforms, desalination plants, and coastal power generation facilities. The natural antimicrobial properties of copper-nickel alloys also provide excellent resistance to marine biological fouling.
We supply Copper Nickel Flanges in two primary grades: 90/10 (10% nickel) for general seawater applications and 70/30 (30% nickel) for higher velocity and more corrosive environments. All our flanges are manufactured to ASME B16.5, ASME B16.47, and ASTM B462 standards.
Our Copper Nickel Flanges are available in various types including Slip-On Flanges, Weld Neck Flanges, Blind Flanges, Socket Weld Flanges, Lap Joint Flanges, and Threaded Flanges in sizes ranging from 1/2" to 24" and pressure classes from 150# to 2500#.

Contains 90% copper and 10% nickel with iron and manganese additions. This grade is ideal for general seawater applications with moderate flow velocities (typically up to 2-2.5 m/s). It offers excellent corrosion resistance and is more economical than the 70/30 grade. Commonly used in shipboard piping, heat exchangers, and condenser systems.
Contains 70% copper and 30% nickel with iron additions. This grade provides superior resistance to erosion-corrosion in high-velocity seawater applications (up to 4 m/s) and more aggressive marine environments. It offers enhanced resistance to stress corrosion cracking and is preferred for offshore platforms, naval vessels, and high-performance marine systems.
Select 90/10 for standard seawater cooling systems, ballast systems, and general marine piping where flow velocities are moderate. Choose 70/30 for high-velocity applications, offshore environments, polluted seawater conditions, or where superior corrosion resistance is required.
