High-Strength Duplex & Super Duplex Steel Pipe Fittings for Corrosive Environments

MicroTech Stainless Steel Co. supplies premium quality Duplex and Super Duplex Steel Pipe Fittings engineered for exceptional strength and corrosion resistance. Our duplex fittings combine the benefits of austenitic and ferritic stainless steels, offering approximately twice the strength of conventional austenitic grades with superior resistance to stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion.
Available in Duplex 2205 (UNS S31803/S32205) and Super Duplex 2507 (UNS S32750) grades, our fittings are manufactured to ASME B16.9, ASME B16.11, and MSS SP-43 standards. The balanced microstructure of duplex alloys provides outstanding performance in chloride-containing environments, making them ideal for offshore, marine, chemical processing, and oil and gas applications.
Our product range includes butt weld fittings (elbows, tees, reducers, caps, stub ends), socket weld fittings, and threaded fittings in sizes from 1/2" to 24". Each fitting undergoes rigorous testing including PMI verification, ferrite content measurement, and corrosion testing to ensure compliance with NACE MR0175 and other industry specifications.
Approximately twice the yield strength of austenitic stainless steels, allowing for thinner wall sections and weight reduction in piping systems.
Excellent resistance to chloride pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. PREN >35 for Duplex 2205 and >40 for Super Duplex 2507.
Outstanding resistance to seawater corrosion, making them ideal for offshore platforms, subsea pipelines, and marine applications.
Excellent resistance to chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking, providing reliable performance in high-chloride environments where austenitic grades fail.
Higher strength allows for reduced material thickness and weight, resulting in lower overall project costs compared to austenitic stainless steel alternatives.
Available in NACE MR0175/ISO 15156 compliant grades for sour gas service in oil and gas production.
Offshore platforms, subsea pipelines, wellhead equipment, sour gas handling, and produced water systems.
Seawater piping, ballast systems, firefighting systems, offshore platform topside piping, and marine propulsion.
Chlorine production, bleaching systems, acidic and chloride-containing process streams, and chemical transfer systems.
Reverse osmosis systems, brine handling, seawater intake, and concentrate disposal systems.
Bleaching equipment, chemical recovery systems, and chlorine dioxide piping.
FGD systems, scrubbers, and pollution control equipment handling acidic condensates.
