Premium Marine-Grade Copper Nickel 90/10 & 70/30 Pipe Fittings for Seawater Service

MicroTech Stainless Steel Co. supplies high-quality Copper Nickel Pipe Fittings specifically engineered for exceptional seawater corrosion resistance and marine applications. Available in 90/10 (C70600) and 70/30 (C71500) grades, our copper-nickel fittings provide outstanding performance in seawater cooling systems, marine piping, offshore platforms, and desalination plants.
Copper-nickel alloys offer unique advantages including excellent resistance to seawater corrosion, biofouling resistance due to copper content, good thermal conductivity, and immunity to stress corrosion cracking. The 90/10 grade (10% nickel) is ideal for general seawater service, while the 70/30 grade (30% nickel) provides enhanced corrosion resistance for high-velocity seawater and polluted harbor waters.
Our fittings are manufactured to ASME B16.9, ASTM B466, and ASTM B467 standards, available in butt weld configuration including elbows, tees, reducers, and caps in sizes from 1/2" to 12". Each fitting undergoes comprehensive testing including chemical analysis, hydrostatic testing, and dimensional verification to ensure reliable long-term performance in marine environments.
Outstanding corrosion resistance in seawater, brackish water, and marine atmospheres. Corrosion rates typically less than 0.025 mm/year in clean seawater.
Natural resistance to marine organism attachment and microbial-induced corrosion. Copper content provides antimicrobial properties that inhibit bacterial growth and marine fouling.
Complete immunity to chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking, unlike stainless steels. No risk of premature failure in high-chloride seawater environments.
Excellent heat transfer properties make copper-nickel ideal for heat exchangers and seawater cooling systems. Thermal conductivity superior to stainless steel.
Excellent weldability, formability, and machinability. Can be welded using GTAW, GMAW processes without preheating requirements.
Proven track record of 30+ years service life in marine applications. Lower lifecycle costs due to reduced maintenance and extended replacement intervals.
