High-Performance Nickel-Molybdenum-Chromium Alloy Fittings for Extreme Corrosive Environments

MicroTech Stainless Steel Co. supplies premium Hastealloy Pipe Fittings in C-276, C-22, B-2, and B-3 grades, engineered for superior corrosion resistance in the most aggressive chemical processing environments. Hastealloy nickel-based superalloys provide exceptional resistance to both oxidizing and reducing acids, stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion in chloride-contaminated environments.
Hastealloy C-276 and C-22 offer broad-spectrum corrosion resistance from oxidizing to reducing conditions, while B-2 and B-3 grades excel in reducing acid environments including hydrochloric and sulfuric acids. The high nickel, molybdenum, and chromium content combined with low carbon ensures excellent weldability and resistance to grain boundary precipitation.
Our fittings are manufactured to ASME B16.9, ASTM B366, and MSS SP-43 standards in butt weld configuration including elbows, tees, reducers, caps, and stub ends. Available in sizes from 1/2" to 12", each fitting undergoes comprehensive testing including PMI verification, intergranular corrosion testing, and dimensional inspection to ensure reliable performance in chemical processing, pharmaceutical, pollution control, and pulp & paper applications.
Exceptional resistance to both oxidizing (ferric chloride, cupric chloride) and reducing (hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid) conditions. C-276/C-22 offer broad-spectrum resistance.
Outstanding resistance to chloride-induced pitting, crevice corrosion, and SCC. High molybdenum/tungsten content provides maximum localized corrosion resistance.
B-2 and B-3 grades specifically optimized for hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid. Superior performance in non-oxidizing acid environments at all concentrations.
Low carbon content (≤0.01%) ensures excellent weldability without post-weld heat treatment. No grain boundary precipitation concerns with standard welding procedures.
Excellent resistance to complex chemical mixtures containing oxidizing and reducing species. Ideal for multi-purpose chemical plants with diverse corrosive media.
Available in NACE MR0175/ISO 15156 compliant grades for sour gas service. Full material traceability and corrosion testing per industry specifications.
Reactors, distillation columns, heat exchangers handling hydrochloric, sulfuric, phosphoric, acetic acid, and complex chemical mixtures in multi-purpose plants.
Process equipment for pharmaceutical synthesis, API manufacturing, reactors, and high-purity transfer systems requiring corrosion resistance with cleanability.
FCC units, alkylation processes, sour water systems, crude oil processing, spent acid recovery, and hydrogen sulfide environments.
Flue gas desulfurization systems, scrubbers, waste gas treatment, emission control equipment, and environmental systems handling acidic condensates.
